Ireland Series 2013
Work on this series began during a trip to the west coast of Ireland on a residency at the Ballinglen Art Foundation, Ballycastle, Co. Mayo. The work focuses on the landscape and sea cliffs, Neolithic stone monuments, medieval abbeys and stonewalls of this mysterious, beautiful region. Begun primarily as watercolor and pastel, charcoal and pencil drawings, this work has developed into reduction color woodcuts prints.
