Orchard Series 2001–1998
As an outgrowth of the landscape work I was making along the Connecticut River, I began drawing in the fruit orchards and farms near my home in Glastonbury, CT. These drawings and color woodcut prints focused on the long rows of trees running away into the distance and the exaggerated shapes of the branches and trunks.
