Some Big Questions I Have 2013–10
This series of prints have included figurative references with a humorous, satirical base. I developed these compositions from my own personal mythologies, things I read and see, and wonder about. Many of these prints layer letterpress text into this mix, sometimes using vintage printing elements in a collage-like printing style. Often a figure known as The Confused Guy appears, who has lots of questions and tends to have bad luck with most things. This work also incorporates ideas about science, fortune telling, and soothsaying.
